Global Warming
MCCP issued a statement on Climate Change writing to the Governments of the nations represented, urging their Governments to take positive action.
Dear Prime Ministers,
From April 14th to 18th Leaders from Methodist and Uniting Churches in the Pacific met in Tonga for their annual consultative meeting.
During the meeting we considered a theological response to ecological issues. As part of this we heard from members specific concerns of rising sea levels and their effects on low lying islands of the Pacific.
