West Papua - a statement

During the meeting we received a report of human rights abuses in West Papua. The Theme of the meeting was Wesleyan Heritage: Oceanic Methodist “Lotu” now. Wesley opposed slavery and social justice is central for Methodists. It was decided to issue a statement calling our member church to prayer and action. Read the full statement.

Tonga 2017 - Wesleyan Heritage: Oceanic Methodist “Lotu” now
MCCP met in Nuku'alofa Tonga from May 1st to 5th. The Free Wesleyan Church of Tonga provided wonderful hospitality. The consultaion included visits to Siatotai Theological College, Queen Salote College and Tupou College. Participants were treated to wonderful music, good food and challenging and stimulation papers and discussion. The concluding statement and report can be read here.
